Hafez Percussion Inc. developed this method book focusing on teaching the fundamentals of Arab percussion through the Doumbek (also known as Derbakkeh, Tabla, Tableh and Darbuka). Hafez Kotain created this book to help spread the rich culture of Arab percussion and music to the world. This volume focuses on continuing to elevate the leaner’s techniques by introducing accents, crescendo, decrescendo, dotted note and triplet.
This is the second volume of many series of books that Hafez Percussion plans on producing. Future publishings will consist of more advanced techniques to help you master the art of playing the Doumbek.
